INSPECTION

The possible outcomes of an inspection include:

• The inspected person is deatained.

• The person inspected is immediately returned under "expedited removal."

• The person inspected is granted "deferred inspection."

• The person inspected is granted Parole:
  • Allows physical entry of the person into the U.S. though the person is not admitted. and precludes the person from asserting the legal rights that exist when a person is admitted.
  • Has been granted for humanitarian purposes.

• The person is Admitted.
